During my stint in the world of motorsport (speedway), I came across many and varied sponsorship proposals. Some better than others. Some detailed. Some brief. A few polished. While others felt slapped together.
It all started out with an enthusiastic young man chasing a dream. Today, marks 14 year s since Redline Media’s inception, the small but dedicated team have much to celebrate, with the company continuing to expand.
Ahead of their upcoming 2017-18 season, which is a new beginning for the team in many ways, with Jamie Veal set to take over driver duties, Krikke Motorsport has entered into a partnership with one of the country’s leading motorsport marketing agencies: Redline Media.
Recently, Ally Stoyel sat down with Totally Speedway publisher and editor, Daniel Powell, to chat about the current media landscape within the Australian speedway industry.
In any sporting profession, media is the lifeblood of exposure and renown. Without writers, photographers, commentators and videographers, fans would be unable to connect with the sport, and speedway is no different.
